Information: John W. Flinn, age 73, a farmer who was prominent in the Belleville vicinity, died at his home there Friday morning at 4 o'clock.  He had been ill for several months.  He spent his life in the Belleville community and died on the farm where he was born.  He is survived by one son, Clyde, three brothers, E. A. and S. N. Flinn, of Belleville, R. E. Flinn, of Parkersburg, and one sister, Mrs. A. L. Boso, of Ravenswood.  The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Pond Creek Baptist church and burial was in the church cemetery. [Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
