  <p>Information: Jessie P. Flesher, 88, of Ripley, died March 11, 1998, in Ravenswood Care Center.  She was born Oct. 3, 1909 in Charleston, daughter of Thomas Guy Williams and Leana Hood Williams.  She was a secretary at United National Bank, Ripley.  She is a member of St. John&#39;s Episcopal Church, Ripley; secretary for the church guild; news correspondent for local television stations in West Virginia.  She wrote several books on the history of Jackson County.  She is survived by daughter, Penny Flesher Brown (Larry), Ravenswood; sister, Betty McMillan, Hurricane; brothers, Bernard Williams, Charleston, and William Williams, Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren, Noelle (Gary) Butler, Heather (James) Mancari, and Christopher Brown; four great-grandchildren, Rhianna, Rocky and Devan Butler and Cassandra Mancari.  She was preceded in death by husband, Don, grandson, Josh Brown; two brothers and one sister.  Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood with the Rev. Jack Neilson officiating.  Burial in Fairplain Cemetery, Fairplain.</p>
