  <p>Information: Gilbert W. (Fats) Flesher, 75 of Ripley, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1989, Jackson General Hospital following a short illness.  He was born in Statts Mill, a son of the late Walter S. Flesher and Inez Donovan Flesher.  He was a pipefitter for the Libby Owen Ford Company and of the Protestant faith.  He is survived by his wife, Naomi Flesher of Ripley; four daughters, Mrs. Brenda Cox, Betty Davis and Lucille Carney all of Fairplain and Carlotta Shamblin of Dunbar; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Services were held Sunday at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarence D. Edens officiating.  Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.</p>
