Information: DIED FITZHUGH--Mrs. Henrietta Fitzhugh, widow of the late Henry Fitzhugh, Esq., at the residence of Dr. Cotton, her son-in-law, in Charleston, Monday morning, December 8th, at 7 o'clock, after an illness of six or seven days. Mrs. Fitzhugh was born in November, 1780, and consequently was ninety years of age; she was our oldest citizen, and about the 1st of last July she and her two daughters went from Ravenswood to Charleston to spend the Summer with relatives, where she remained until death.  Her acquaintance was extensive, and it was always a pleasure to converse with her, as she retained her mental faculties to an ususual degree.  Those who knew her best loved her most.  It is expected her remains will arrive here today, and that the burial will take place Friday, at the family burial-ground in the church yard.   (from a photocopy-Ada Ruth Sayre obituary collection)
