Information: GOLDTOWN - William Odra "" W. O. "" Fisher, 87, of Goldtown, Jackson County, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, in CAMC, Memorial Division, after a short illness.  He retired in 1972 from the maintenance department of Union Carbide, South Charleston, with 30 years of service.  He was a founder, charter member, and member of the board of directors of Fisher Memorial Church, Goldtown, since 1943.  For 18 years he sang bass with the original Fisher Quartet, a well-known a capella gospel group which sang throughout West Virginia and adjoining states.  Surviving:  wife, Loraine Pritt Fisher; daughters, J. Sue Boggess of Goldtown, Delores Ranson of Ripley; sister, Phoebe Good of Sissonville; grandchildren, J. Michael Ransom of Charleston, Nancy Lathey of Ripley; five great-grandchildren.  Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Memorial Church, Dudden Road, Kenna, with the Rev. Jerry Bonnett and former pastor of the church, the Rev. Carl Chambers, officiating.  Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the church.  The family suggests memorial contributions to Odra Fisher Memorial Fund, Fisher Memorial Family Center, 2515 Dudden Road, Kenna, W. Va. 25248.  Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
