Information:      Larry Ersil Bailey, Sr., age 73, of Mossyrock, Washington, left this world in early hours of Saturday, October 15, 2016, after a lengthy battle with both liver disease and COPD/emphysema.  He was at home, with family holding his hands, at the time of his death.  Larry grew up in the Ripley/Spencer area of West Virginia.  Before moving to Mossyrock after his retirement he had lived in several states during his 30 years as an electrical engineer.  Larry was born on January 24, 1943, at his childhood home in Spencer, West Virginia.  His parents were Ercil Bain and Hettie Ella Fields Bailey, who preceded him in death.  Larry was the middle child of three children.  He was also preceded in death by his younger sister, Phyllis Irene, who was still-born.    Larry graduated from Ripley High School (Class of 1960) and worked for two years at the local Ripley Big R Supermarket before going college.  Larry married Debbi J. Seibel on July 21, 1972, in a suburb of Dallas, Texas.  They have three children - Larry, Jr., Lisa, and Angela.  On April 21, 1964, while living in Kansas City, he married Karen Patton.  They have one daughter - Karie.  Larry will remain in the hearts of his wife of 44 years, Debbi; his daughter and son-in-law, Karie and Mark Eaton of Olathe, Kansas; his son and daughter-in-law, Larry, Jr. and Angi Bailey of Gresham, Oregon; his daughters, Lisa Bailey of Mossyrock, Washington, and Angela Bailey currently living in Cuenca, Ecuador; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Geneal Bailey of Ripley, West Virginia; his granddaughter and grandson, Courtney Eaton and Corbin Eaton of Olathe, Kansas; an his granddaughters, Katelyn Bailey and Abbigale Bailey of Gresham, Oregon.  May you rest in peace, home radio operator KD7WX.
