Information: Ralph Clarence Fisher, 80, of Evans, died March 29, 1995, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after an extended illness. He was born in Ripley, a son of the late William Luther and Loretta Payne Fisher. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and a retired construction foreman. He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 1085, Parkersburg, and attended the Evans United Methodist Church. Surviving are one foster son, Roger Evans of Elyria; two sisters, Ruth Johnson of St. Albans and Irene Wells of Sandyville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Fisher, and one sister, Lena Morrison. Services were Saturday, Casto Funeral Home, Evans, the Rev. Mike Norris and the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Burial Creston Cemetery, near Evans.
