  <p>Information: Ercil B. Bailey, 82, of Spencer, died May 14, 1997, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.  He was born in Roane County, a son of the late Lloyd C. and Ina Mae Roberts Bailey.  He was retired from Ray Resources, enjoyed gardening and farming, and was a Methodist.  Surviving:  wife, Hettie E. Fields Bailey of Spencer; sons, Charles L. Bailey of Ripley and Larry E. Bailey of Vancouver; sister, Edna Miller of Spencer; brother, Vernon Bailey of Spencer; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Irene Bailey; five sisters, Estella Romine, Icy Bowyer, Opal Parsons, Edith Haught and Virgie Burdette Grady; one brother, Paul L. Bailey; and one grandson.  Services were Friday, Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, the Rev. Ken Krimmel officiating.  Burial Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.</p>
