  <p>Information: KENNA - Homer M. Fisher, 80, of Ripley, died Dec. 4, 1997, at home after a short illness.  He was a member of Pleasant View Church, Fisher Ridge, a Navy veteran of World War II, a former Ripley police officer, a former Jackson County chief deputy and two-term Jackson County Sheriff.  Surviving:  brothers, Ronald of St. Albans, Howard Keith of Hamilton, Ohio; sisters, Irene Bumgardner of Pocatalico, Imogene Gandee of Summersville; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren.  Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant View Church with John Gunther officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, and one hour prior to service at the church.</p>
