Information: RIPLEY - Henry W. Fisher of Ripley, age 72, died suddenly at Jackson General Hospital on June 26, 2004. He was born July 5, 1931 in Goldtown, Jackson County, a son of the late Denver and Margie Good Fisher. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation with thirty-three years of service. He was a graduate of the Ripley High School Class of 1949; a member and former trustee at Calvary United Methodist Church; and an Army veteran in the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nyaldean Sisson Fisher; daughters, Angela Price of Clarksburg and Brenda Nuckols of Dillwin VA; brother, Denver Starling Fisher of Dunbar; sisters, Janet Rhodes of Ripley and Sue Woodruff of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Nathan Price, Shelly Conley, Amy Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Price and Brady Price; and three step-grandchildren, Sara Addison and Victoria and John Nucklos. A funeral service will be today at 2 pm at the Calvary United Methodist Church with Reverend Mary Ellen Finegan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church Building Fund, 205 Court St., Ripley WV 25271. Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home of Ripley is serving the family.
