Information: Estil S. Fisher, 87, of Ripley, died Jan. 30, 1989, in Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Ripley.  He was retired from J. A. Jones Construction Co.  He was a Mason.  Surviving:  wife, Bertha; daughter, Betty Ridge of Jackson, Ohio; sister, Hallie Baldwin of Sissonville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.  Service will be 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Epworth United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery.  Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, is in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, Church and North Streets, Ripley WV 25271 or American Cancer Society. from the funeral service program - Estil S. ""Pop"" Fisher was born 87 years ago at Sissonville, West Virginia, the son of the late Eldridge and Dolly Humphrey Fisher.  Mr. Fisher retired in 1965 after a career as a structural iron worker.  An active member of the Epworth United Methodist Church, he served on the Board of Trustees and was a member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class.  He also was a member of the Ripley Masonic Lodge #16 AF & AM.      He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bertha Fisher; one daughter, Betty Ridge of Jackson, Ohio; two grandchildren, Michael Ridge of Londonderry, New Hampshire and Susan Ridge of Alexandria, Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Victoria Ridge of Londonderry, New Hampshire; and one sister, Hallie Fisher Baldwin of Sissonville.
