Information: Mrs. Effie Bernice “Fiz” Fisher, 72, of Ripley died April 26 after a long illness. She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Kenna. Surviving: husband, Homer Fisher; sisters, Kathryn White of Sissonville, Lucille Fisher of Kenna and Jean Dean of Charleston; brothers, John Beane Jr., Jim Beane and Paul Blackburn all of Sissonville, Joe Beane of Charleston, Jack Beane of St. Augustine, FL and two grandchildren. Services were Friday at the Pleasant View United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Fisher Cemetery.
