Information:   Word was received of the death in Odessa, Tex., of Mrs. Kate Chenoweth Finch, 79, who for many years taught school in Jackson County,.   She was born in West Virginia on Nov. 8, 1896, and was a member of the Methodist Church.  She had resided in Odessa for three years, having moved there from St. Petersburg, Fla.   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jo Deems, Odessa; a sister, Mrs. Maude Burton of Cowen, and two grandchildren.   Services were held at Odessa.  Burial was in St. Petersbug, Fla.
