  <p>Information: William W. Fields, 78, retired Jackson county farmer, died on Tuesday in a local hospital.  Surviving are his widow, Rebecca Fields; four daughters, Mrs. Herbert Snyder and Mrs. Nellie Rock of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. T. O. (Laura) Powers of Staats Mills, W. Va., and Mrs. G. O. (Orpha Ethel) Morris of Gay, W. Va.; two sons, Oscar C. of Charleston and Holly W. of Akron, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Joshua (Emma Viola Fields) Presley of Boyd (Roane County); three brothers, John and Ben of Harmony (Roane Co.), and Clint of Gandeeville.  Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2:30 pm at the Agy church, with Rev. Jarrell Winters in charge.  Burial was made in the Parsons cemetery near the home by Vail Mortuary of Ripley.  (Deaths were reported by Mrs. Virgil Morris).    (Betty Kessel McIntyre)</p>
