  <p>Information: Ray Okey Fields, 63 of Ripley died Saturday, Oct. 28, 1989 at his residence following a short illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Virgil and Jeanetta Dale Price Fields,  He was employed by the City of Ripley, and was a member of the Salt Hill Church of Ripley.  He is survived by his wife, Violet Fields; four sons, David Ray Fields, James Ricky Fields and Robert Allen Fields, all of Ripley, and Mark Edward Fields of Sandyville; five daughters, Sharon Ruth Easter of Davis, Shirley Jean Westfall of Statts Mill, Dottie Marie Stephens of Parkersburg and Patty Jane Hall and Karen Wallen both of Ripley; five brothers, Roy Fields, Sherman Fields, Basil Fields and Charles Fields, all of Gay and Gay Fields of Ravenswood; three sisters, Louisa Price and Monnie Mahood, both of Gay and Dorothy Canter of Sissonville; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Monday at the Salt Hill Church with the Rev. Donald Hinzman and the Rev. Creel Kerns officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
