  <p>Information: STROKE IS FATAL TO MRS. ROY FIELDS - Mrs. Ophelia Myrtle Fields, 51, Staats Mill, died Sunday at the Staats hospital in Charleston where she had been a patient since last Wednesday when she suffered a stroke at her home.  The funeral service was held at the Vail funeral home here Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Noble Harper officiating and the burial was in the Parsons cemetery at Gay.  Mrs. Fields was born at Staats Mill on December 9, 1911, a daughter of George and Anna Edwards Cox.  She spent her life in the community.  Surviving are her husband, Roy Fields; a son William of Staats Mill; three daughters, Mrs. Evadean Casto of Ripley, Mrs. Elladean Ray of Gay and Miss Earnestine Fields, at home; two half-sisters, Mrs. Everett Munday of Gay and Mrs. Charles Rogers of Statts Mill; and three grandchildren.</p>
