Information:     Robert H. Ferguson, Frederick, Md., a native of Jackson County and former teacher of social science and track coach at Parkersburg High School, died in a Hagerstown, Md. hospital following a prolonged illness of lung cancer. His funeral was held in Pt. Pleasant.     Ferguson's death came 12 hours after the death of his stepmother, Mrs. Etta Ferguson, 88 of Ravenswood, which occurred in a New Martinsville hospital.  He was a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Ferguson, formerly of Cottageville.     A graduate of West Virginia University, he was long associated with West Virginia schools, was a former principal of the Cottageville High School, Pt. Pleasant High School, and was superintendent of Mason County schools, prior to moving to Maryland from Pt. Pleasant in 1954.     He was a guidance counselor in Frederick schools and taught at the Western Maryland College.  He was a member of the Calvary United Medthodist Church in Frederick.     Survivors include the widow, the former Mayme McCutcheon of Webster Springs, also a teacher; a daugher, Mrs. Monroe Bush Jr., of Boudler, Colo., a son, Lt. Col. James Ferguson, Alexandria, Va., and several grandchildren.  A daughrer, Anne is deceased, Lt. Col. Ferguson is married to the former Anne Fahlgren, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fahigren of Parkersburg.  Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Herbert Philllips, Oil Springs, and Mrs. Robert Fetcher, Mddlebourne, and a brother, Donald Ferguson of Ripley.
