Information: John Francis Ferguson was born February 8, 1861, the son of the late Joseph and Grace Ferguson, and died December 31, 1943 after a weeks' illness at his home, the residence of his brother, A.W. Ferguson, where he had resided since the death of their father in June 1890.  Also surviving is another brother, W.R. Ferguson of Akron, Ohio.  The funeral service was conducted at the home by Rev.B.F. King on Saturday afternoon and burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery at Ripley.
