Information: Funeral services for George L. Farnsworth, 85, of Vienna, who died at 3 a.m. Wednesday at his home, following several months of illness, were held Friday at the Franklin Funeral Home. Evang. Chelsie Reed officiated.  Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery Mr. Farnsworth was born in Jackson County, March 29, 1879, the son of the late David and Maggie Noe Farnsworth.  He had lived in Vienna for the past 21 years, where he was a member of the 34th St. Church of Christ.  He was employed at Belleville from 1917 to 1943 as an agent and operator for the B. & O Railroad. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Vesta Huffman Farnsworth; two daughters, Mrs Clarence Brown and Mrs. Leo Mitchell, both of Washington, Wood county; one son, Walton Farnsworth, Marion, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace McIntyre, of Ravenna, Ohio, and Miss Nell Farnsworth, of Parkersburg; two brothers, W.A. Farnsworth, of Akron, Ohio, and Alvie Farnsworth, of Ravenna, Ohio, and seven grandchildren.
