Information: Viola M. Ham Farmer, 81, of Murraysville, died Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, following an extended illness. She was born in Tuckerdale, N.C., a daughter of the late Jack and Frances Davis Ham. She attended the Milhoan Ridge Baptist Church, was a member of the Ravenswood Center Citizens Club and had served on the Farm Women's Committee. She is survived by three daughters, Blanche Carmichael of Clarksburg, Hazel Zahrndt of Murraysville and Emogene McClure of Cottageville, two sisters, Gertie Ham of Lansing, N.C., and Mae Ham of Grayson, N. C., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cllinton Farmer, in 1974; and one daughter, Llizzie Louise Farmer. Services were held on Sunday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Darrell Johnson officating. Burial followed in the Ravenswood Cemetery.
