Information: Everett Ayres, 64, of Evans, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died at his home Wednesday following a long illness.  He was born at Evans, a son of C.R. and Ruth Bennett Ayres, and was a retired employee of the Sthal Geer Machine Co. of Cleveland, for 26 years.  Survivors are two brothers, Firzhugh L. and Earl E. Ayres, both of Evans; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Stobart, Racine, Ohio, and Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Cleveland.  Rites were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Casto Funeral Home at Evans with the Rev. Gerald Sayre in charge.  Burial was in the Otterbein Cemetery near Evans.  Mr. Ayres was born and reared at Evans.  Some time ago he retired as a machinist in Cleveland and returned to Evans where he had since resided.  Relatives said that his death resulted from lung cancer.  His condition was thought to be no worse last week, and death was not expected.
