Information: Dr. James Doverner Faber, 68 of Charleston died Sept. 24, 1989 in CAMC, Memorial Division after a long illness.  He was the son of the late Dovernor and Nell Faber and grandson of the late John Henry Faber and Mary Virginia Corbin Faber of Ripley.  He was a retired dentist with 35 years of service.  He was a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia Dental School, Richmond, Va., and a member of Delta Signa Delta fraternity.  He was a member of the national, state and regional dental associations.  He was co-founder of the Delta Dental Plan of West Virginia.  He was past advisor to Kanawha County Vocational Schools, West Virginia Division of Health and Department of Human Services.  He was a member and Sunday school teacher at Baptist Temple.  He was an Army Medical Corps veteran of World War II.  He was a Mason, a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies, York Rite, KCCH, the Royal of Scotland and Charleston Lodge.  He was assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 4, Calvary Baptist Church.  Surviving:  wife, Sarah Daniel Faber; daughters, Sarah Frail, Rosemary Flatt and Carolyn Ann Faber of Charleston; sons, J. Daniel of Frame, George Herman of Charleston; brother, John Henry of Shepherdstown; three grandchildren.  Services were held Sept 27, 1989 at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home.
