Information: Dovener Faber, 84, of Charleston, died Saturday at his son's Martinsburg home after a long illness.  A Jackson County native, he was the son of the late John and Mary Faber, of southern Jackson County.  He was a retired grocery store owner, having owned stores in Marmet and Elkview.  He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Clendenin Lodge AF & AM for 50 years.  He was a 32nd degree Scottiah Rite Mason, a member of the Beni Kedem Shrine Temple and a member of the Tiskawah Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.  He was a veteran of World War I.  Surviving:  sons, John Faber of Martinsburg and Dr. James Faber of Charleston; sister, Mrs. Linnie Vickers of Elkview; brother, Corbett of Youngstown, Ohio; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Service was Tuesday in Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Roland J. Weisser officiating.  Entombment was in Cunningham Memorial Park Mausoleum.
