  <p>Information: Mrs. Della Constance Etheridge, 79, of Ripley, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1991, at Jackson General Hospital, following a short illness.  She was born Feb. 28, 1911, at Grandview, Raleigh County, daughter of the late Homer Painter and Ollie Stover Painter.  She had retired from C & P Telephone Company, Washington D.C., and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.  Survivors:  daughters, Betty Thompson, Vienna, Margaret Tolley, Ripley, Dorothy Earehart, Daniel, Dreama Schron, Ashton MD; step-daughter, Priscilla Long, High Point, NC; brothers, Roy Painter, Lynch Station, VA, Ray Painter, Ypsilanti, MI; sisters, Elizabeth Armstrong, Beckley, Glenna Anderson, Beaver, Kathaleen Hajash, Largo, FL; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Etheridge.  Funeral services will be held at Epworth United Methodist Church, Thursday, 1 p.m. with Dr. Charles Echols officiating.  Burial will follow at Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville.  Friends may call this evening (Wednesday) at Parsons Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.</p>
