Information: DEATH CLAIMS MISS ELLISON - Phoebe Hattie Ellison, 85, of Ripley, died Saturday in a Spencer hospital after a long illness.  Born in Ripley, he was the daughter of the late J. C. and Clara Parsons Ellison.  Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Marie Reynolds of Ripley, and Mrs. Genevieve Rhodes of Parkersburg.  The funeral service was held at the Vail funeral home Monday and the burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.  Miss Ellison spent her entire life in Ripley where she owned a home on Charleston Drive.  Her father, Colonel J. C. Ellison, was a well known Jackson county resident during his lifetime.
