  <p>Information: RAVENSWOOD - Thurmon Ellis, 77, of Ravenswood, died July 6, 1998, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.  He was born March 6, 1921 in Logan WV.  He was a maintenance mechanic at KACC.  He was a member of the local Ham Radio Club and First United Methodist Church.  He was an avid outdoorsman.  Survivors include his wife, Loraine Ellis of Ravenswood; four sons, David Ellis and his wife, Ginger of Portland, Maine, Max Ellis and his wife, Linda Bland, of Ravenswood, Charles Ellis and his wife, Michele, of Ravenswood and Rex Ellis of Newport News VA; one daughter, Diana White and her husband, Tom, of Newport News VA; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Maggie Godby Ellis; and two sister, Hazel Hart and Mildred Ellis.  Services will be held Thursday, July 9, 1998 at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Ronald Brooks officiating.  Burial will be in Ravenswood Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today (Wednesday).</p>
