Information: ELLIOTT SERVICE IS HELD AT RIPLEY - Mrs. Jessie Shinn Elliott, 83-year-old widow of the late Jonah B. Elliott, died on December 22 at Akron General Hospital after a two months illness.  The funeral service was held at the Parsons funeral home in Ripley the following Thursday with Rev. Robert Evans officiating and the burial was in the Elliott family cemetery.  She was born Nov. 27, 1881, at Ripley, the daughter of the late Charlie and Ellen Rader Shinn.  She was a member of the Mt. Olive Methodist Church, near Ripley.  Surviving are five sons, Charles and John Elliott, both of Ripley, Veria Elliott, New Medford, Ohio, James Elliott, Delford Heights, O., and Howard Elliott of Dunbar; five daughters, Margerie Elliott and Mrs. Jean Muller, both of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Gladys Hysell and Mrs. Mildred Hall, both of Ripley and Mrs. Buddie Hall of Charleston; three sisters, Mrs. Nuna Yeager and Mrs. A.....Westfall, both of New Medford, Ohio, and Mrs. Omelia Lisle of Pontiac, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
