Information: Mrs. Edrie E. Elliott, 85 of Ripley died April 13, 1990 in Eldercare Nursing Home, Ripley, after a long illness.  She was a member of Salt Hill Church.  Surviving:  son, Jonah James of Sandyville; daughter, Mary Ann Steele of Charleston; sisters, Margaret Shanahan of Sissonville, Jeanette Snyder of Cameron; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren.  Graveside service was held Monday at Elliott Cemetery, Fairplain with the Rev. Homer Hicks officiating.  Vail Funeral Home, Ripley was in charge of arrangements.
