Information: RAVENSWOOD - Forrest Wesley August, 27, of Ravenswood, departed this world on June 27, 2011 in Parkersburg.  Forrest was born on June 20, 1984 in Marietta OH, the son of Roy Joseph August and Vergene Conopask August. He worked in Information Technology at Orrick-Herrington Sutcliffe Golbal Operations Center.  He was a graduate of West Liberty University, and a member of Delta Zeta Pi Fraternity.  He was also a member of 355 Nation (a national community of truck enthusiasts).  He enjoyed the Wheeling Nailers Hockey Team, and was a volunteer for the Jackson County Habitat for Humanity.  He enjoyed trips to the ocean with his family and had a great love for animals.      Surviving are his parents, Blue V. August and Roy August, both of Ravenswood; brothers, Travis August of Oakland, Calif., and Justin August of Philadelphia PA; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Genevieve Conopask and Fred and Mabel August; and a cousin, Seth Conopask.  A celebration of life was 3 p.m. Friday, July 1, at the Episcopal Church in Ravenswood with Pastor Scott Mapes.  Friends visited the family at Roush Funeral Home on Friday, July 1, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jackson County Habitat for Humanity.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by email at roush94@yahoo.com. or on our website at www.joeroushfuneralhome.com.
