  <p>Information: Frank Carl Edman, 50, of Ripley, died Saturday at the Roselane Health Center, Massillon, OH, after an extended illness.  He was a son of Flora Cross Edman of Parkersburg and the late Robert Edman.  He was a graduate of the Romney School for the Deaf and was a linotype operator at the Jackson Herald in Ripley.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Edith Edman; one son, John Lester Edman of Canton, OH; two daughters, Barbara Ward of Louisville, OH, and Tammy Edman of Ravenswood; two brothers, Robert and Jim Edman, both of Parkersburg; five sisters, Jane Wilson, Ruth Smith and Lanore Sims, all of Parkersburg, Brenda Copeland of Davisville and Ethel Sallee of Vinton, OH, and three grandchildren.  Services were yesterday at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial was in Fairplain Cemetery.</p>
