  <p>Information: Edward Francis Early, 73, of Ripley, died Thursday in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH, after a long illness.  He was a supervisor at St. Regis Paper Co., Canton, OH, and was a Catholic.  He was a veteran of World War II and received the Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts.  He was a member of DAV and VFW.  Survivors include his wife, Melba Kingery Early; one step-daughter, Connie Painter of Liberty; two brothers, Jack of San Bernardino, CA, Ernest  of Canton, OH; two sisters, Ruth King and Katherine Stoutzer, both of Canton, OH; and two grandchildren.  Gravesite service was Monday in Calvary Cemetery,Masillon, OH with the Rev. Gary George officiating.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley was in charge of the arrangements.</p>
