Information: Alexander Rufus EAGLE                  Funeral services for Alexander Rufus EAGLE, 67 year old farmer of Liverpool, were held from the Little Creek Church Thursday morning with the Rev. D. C. GUTHRIE in charge and burial was in the Streets Cemetery.  Mr. EAGLE died at his home on Tuesday after a long illness.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia EAGLE; one daugher, Mrs. Okla EAGLE of Harrisburg, Pa.; three sons, Hubert C., Gail and Vernard EAGLE, all of Liverpool; two brothers, Robert W. and J. Theodore EAGLE, both of Parkersburg; two sisters, Mrs. L. C. (OKEY) KNOPP of Parkersburg and Mrs. Roy (Eva) WILLIAMS of Liverpool, and 10 grandchildren.  (Jackson Herald, Fri., 5 Dec 1947)       Alexander Rufus EAGLE                  Alexander Rufus EAGLE was born Dec. 31, 1879, departed this life Nov. 25, 1947, being 67 years, 11 months and 25 days old.  He was the son of A. C. and Olive STRATS EAGLE, both of whom preceded him in death.  He was united in marriage to Julia Nellie ADKINS on Dec. 7, 1902.  To this union were born five children, three sons, Hubert, Gale and Bernard, all of Liverpool Rt. 1.,  one daughter, Ida EAGLE of Harrisburg, Pa.  One child preceded him in death.  (Jackson Herald, Fri., 12 Dec 1947)
