  <p>Information: Lilian M. Dye, 93, of Ravenswood died November 4, 2000 at Ravenswood Care Center.  She was born October 16, 1907 in French Creek, Pleasant County, WV, the daughter of the late Charles Arthur Dye and Mary Carpenter Dye.  She was a graduate of Morris Harvey College and received a masters from WVU.  She taught 45 years in Jackson and Logan County.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood.  She was associated with the Retired School Employees, the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Charter Member of Blennerhassett Historical Foundation, life member of the National Education Association, life member of the West Virginia 4-H All Stars.  Surviving are her sister Loraine Moore of Ravenswood; nephew David C. Moore of Ravenswood; grand nephew Matthew Franklin Moore of Huntington.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Carson Dye.  Services were held Tuesday, November 7, 2000 at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood with the Rev. Darrel Gooden officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Ravenswood and the Ravenswood Library.</p>
