Information: Earl Shafter Durst, 83, of Mount Alto, died Saturday in Jackson General Hospital.  He was a son of the late William C. and Iva Ridenhour Durst.  He was a construction worker and truck driver. Surviving are four sisters, Marie Click, Fay Lions, Alberta Taylor and Geneva Kemenah, all of Mount Alto; and brothers, Bernard Durst of Niles, Ohio and Wallie Durst of Mount Alto.  Services were Monday at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial was in the Hopewell Cemetery.
