  <p>Information: Virgil Dunaway, Jr., 79, Sandyville WV, passed away January 2, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Pt. Pleasant WV.  He was born December 16, 1933 in Burnwell WV (Kanawha County) to Virgil Dunaway Sr. and Mary Madeline Hamilton Dunaway.  He was a foreman, Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp.  He was a member of the Ripley VFW Post 5501, and was retired from Carpenters Local 899 in Parkersburg WV.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.  He was affectionately known as PaPa Virg by his grandchildren.  Survivors are sons, Greg Dunaway, Sandyville WV, Jeff Dunaway and wife Angela, Port Charlotte FL, and Jimmy Dunaway, Culloden WV; his daughter, Teresa Gati and her husband Steve, York PA; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jeffery, Kayla, Michael, Nick, Max, Jeremy, and Brittanie; his brothers, William Dunaway, Sissonville WV and Troy Dunaway, Hurricane WV; his sisters, Nova Jean England, Flatwoods KY, JoAnn Watts, Virginia Beach VA, Mary Fizer, Hurricane WV, Maxine Harmon, Hurricane WV, Phyllis Qualls, Hurricane WV and Helen Plymale, Winfield WV; his brother-in-law, Kenneth Marshall and wife, Etta, of Ravenswood WV.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, in 2010.  Services are Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 1 pm at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood.  Pastor Tommy Nutter will officiate.  Burial will be at Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville WV.  Friends visited the family at the funeral home on Friday, January 4, from 6 - 8 pm.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by email at roush94@yahoo.com. or on our website at www.roushfuneralhome.</p>
