  <p>Information: Frank E. Adkins, 66, of Ravenswood, died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at Ravenswood Village Center.  He was born November 3, 1935 in Omar WV, a son of the late George and Edna Sellards Adkins.  He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church International, and served as pastor for 24 years at the First Pentecostal Church in Ravenswood.  He also served as Foreign Missions Director for the West Virginia District of the United Pentecostal Church for 10 years.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, LaVona Hamilton Adkins of Ravenswood; daughters, Crystal Johnson and husband Pastor David of Ravenswood and Carissa Hardbarger and husband Rev. Randy of Ravenswood; son, Christopher Adkins of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Felicia Dawn Hardbarger, Kinzey Mariah Johnston, Patrick Cole Johnston, Keith Bremen Hardbarger, Nicholas Bryant Johnston, and Jamison Conner Johnston; two adopted grandchildren, Joshua Ray Parsons and Jenna Lee Parsons; brothers, Ronald Lee Adkins of South Point OH and Jackie Thomas Adkins of Flatwoods KY; and sisters, Barbara Jean Purvis of Kannapolis NC, Monie Lou Day of Mercer PA, Patty Ann Stamper of Ironton OH, and Diane Marie Miller of South Point OH.  In addition to his parents, her was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Jr., Larry David, Billy Rae and Rodney Dale Adkins; a sister, Betty Jo Mays; and a grandson, Matthew Beckett Hardbarger.  Services were held on Friday at First United Pentecostal Church in Ravenswood, with the Rev. Edwin Harper officiating.  Burial in Ravenswood Cemetery.  Arrangements by Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood.</p>
