Information: A heart attack was believed to have caused the sudden death on Sunday of George W. Dowler, 84, one of Ravenswood's oldest citizens, who came from Parkersburg to make his home in Jackson Co. about eight years ago. Shortly before five o'clock Sunday evening, the aged man left his home for a short walk, and a few minutes later a neighbor found his lifeless body a short distance from the house. Funeral services were held at three o'clock from the Rose Hill Church. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Seven daughters and a son survive: Mrs. Minnie Moore of Windy, W. Va., Mrs. Tenny Hays of Elizabeth, Mrs. Sadie Giffen of Elizabeth, Mrs. Georgie Pierce of Parkersburg, Mrs. Janie Gant of Parkersburg, Mrs. Glenna Young of Montgomery, Mrs. Annie Buchanan of Elizabeth, and one son, O.
