  <p>Information: William E. Dow, 70, of Ravenswood, died Jan. 21, 1996, at CAMC, Memorial Division. He was the son of Stanley Dow and Neva Elizabeth Eaton Dow.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir, a Trustee and Treasurer.  He graduated from Ravenswood High School in 1944.  He was a member of the Ravenswood Volunteer Fire Department, was the former Assistant Fire Chief, and was a former member of Ravenswood VFW.  Surviving are his wife, Darylene Ward Dow, Ravenswood; two daughters, Kathy Comer Grimm of Ravenswood, and Susan Harpold of Cross Lanes; one son, Dave Harpold of Cross Lanes; two sisters, Maxine Johnson of Millwood and Madeline Pickens of Given; mother-in-law, Mary Ward of Ravenswood; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by parents; one sister, Patty Ann; two grandchildren; and father-in-law, R. E. Ward.  Services will be held Wednesday (today) at Straight, Tucker & Roush Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Miller officiating.  Burial will be in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
