Information: Reuben Hiram Douglass, brief mention of whose death appeared in the Herald last week, died at his home near Millwood, Thursday forenoon, October 9th, of heart failure.  He had been in poor health for several months and during the summer went to the John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md., for treatment, where he was told of his serious condition and came home resigned to his fate.      ""Bud"" as he was familiarly known, was born on the farm where he always resided, July 7, 1861, being the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Douglass, one of the pioneer families of the county.  He was a man of broad mind, genial disposition, good business ability, strictly honest, and was highly respected by all who knew him.  He leaves an estate valued at more than $100,000.  In 1912 he was elected a member of the county court, but resigned after serving four years.  The following brothers and sisters survive:  Mrs. Eliza Simmons of Mason county;  Mrs. Minerva Aultz of Millwood, Taylor G. Douglass of Ravenswood, Mrs. Ellen McKay of Millwood, Mrs. Haymond of Kansas, Oscar Douglass of Arbuckle and Mrs. Sallie Kneeream of Ravenswood.  The funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. G. H. Crook of the Episcopal church and interment made in the family cemetery nearby
