  <p>Information: Richard ""Dick"" Paul Asher, 91, of Ravenswood WV went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2015 in Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston WV following an extended illness.  He was born on October 26, 1923 in Clarksburg WV, son of the late Edward Lee and Precious Daisy Beaver Asher.  He was a charter member of Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II.  He was an avid outdoorsman, especially loved hunting and fishing.  He retired from Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood as a pipe fitter.  He loved his family and provided well for them.         He is survived by his son, Cliff Asher, Ravenswood WV; daughters, Patricia Asher Cunningham, Chatham IL, and Janet Linger, Weston WV; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Asher, Brittny and Jarod Cornett, Drew Fields and Devon Plumley; eight great-grandchildren, Izzabella, Maddie, Lydia, Morgan, Logan, Brady and Paul; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 45 years, Emma Elaine Asher; four brothers; and two sisters.  Services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood WV, with Pastor S. R. Parsons, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg WV.  Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., time of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer&#39;s Research.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at roush94@yahoo.com or on www.facebook.com/roushfuneralhome.</p>
