Information: Funeral services for Danie Childers Donohue, 61 year old Leon woman, were held at the Longview church Sunday with Rev. I.J. McCollum and Rev. W.I. Fiber in charge and burial was at the cemetery there.  The Ralph Bush Mortuary at Mt. Alto had charge of the funeral arrangements.  Mrs. Donohue had been ill only two weeks prior to her death last Friday which was a shock to her family and friends.    She was a member of the Creston United Brethren Church.  Danie Childers  Donohue, daughter of Charles and Emily Jane Childers, was born April 3, 1879 and departed this life Sept 13, 1940, age 61-5-10.  She was united in marriage to Andrew Fisher Donohue on Aug 20, 1902 and to this union  was born the following children, who with her husband survive:  Martha Kerwood of Cottageville; George, Hollie, Herbert and Cyrus Donohue of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary Donohue, at home.  Also surviving are 5 (?) brothers and one sister, Willie, of Butler, Ohio, Lawrence of Cheshire, Ohio, Perry of Iowa, Frank of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and Tallie Childers of Leon, and  Ellen Flowers (?), also of Leon, 16 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
