Information: Ralph Earnest Donohew, son of George and Anna Donohew, was born Feb. 8, 1920, died Sept. 17, 1939, age 19 years, 7 months, and 9 days.  He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers.  His mother was called away leaving Ralph only a babe two weeks old.  Later when Ralph was five weeks old his aunt, Rosa Wheeler, of near Mt. Alto, took him and gave him a home.  Ralph was loved and cherished as if he were their very own son and brother.  He leaves to mourn his departure, a kind father, George Donohew of near Apple Grove, Ohio; one brother, Roy Donohew; one sister, Evelyn Donohew; one grandmother, Mrs. Mooney; one grandfather, Mr. Harris Donohew; his aunt, Mrs. Rosa Wheeler; and a host of other relatives and friends.   [from the Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection]
