  <p>Information: Kenneth Gerald Donohew, 78, of Evans WV, passed away September 28, 2014, in Select Specialty Hospital, Charleston WV.  He was born May 9, 1936 in Evans WV, a son of the late Ernie Denver and Daisy Violet (Barr) Donohew.  His brother, Wilbur Donohew, and his sister, Lillian Hoschar, also preceded him in death.  He was a United States Army veteran, a farmer, and a retired inspector and loader from Kaiser Aluminum with 31 years service.  He was a member of the United Steelworkers Union, Local #5668, a member of the Jackson County Horse Club, Inc., and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trading.         Survivors include his sons, Steve and his wife Linda Donohew, Calvin and his wife Lisa Donoher, and Brett Donohew, all of Evans; grandchildren, Jeremy Donohew, Joshua Donohew, Cassie Donohew, Kristy Shaver, Branden Birthisel, Justin Birthisel, Stacy McCune, and Mindy Smith; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Grant Donohew and Carroll Donohew, both of Evans; sisters, Vesta Livingston of Evans and Christina King of Ripley.  Service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV, with Pastor Benjamin Riggleman officiating, and military honors by American Legion Post #107, Ripley.  Visitation will be one hour prior to time of service.  Private interment will be in the Longview Cemetery, Evans WV.  Email condolences may be sent to castofh@gmail.com.</p>
