  <p>Information: YOUNG EVANS RESIDENT IS VICTIM OF CANCER - Funeral services were held Saturday for Grant E. Donohew Jr., 18, of Evans, who died Wednesday night at home following a long illness.  A member of the 1977 graduating class of Ripley High School, ""General"", as he was known by his friends, was active in extracurricular activities in school.  He participated in sports, playing football and golf.  He was a member of the wrestling team, varsity club, art club, science club, conservation club, archery club, industrial arts club and chess club.  He was also a member of Grasslick Baptist Church.  Survivors include his parents, Grant and Naomi Donohew of Evans; sisters, Teresa Donohew, Pam Crihfield and Julia Donohew all of Evans; brother, Nathan of Evans; grandparents, Ward Winter of Ripley, Mrs. Ernie Donohew of Evans.  The Rev. Paul Patton officiated at funeral services, Saturday, at Casto Funeral Home.  Burial was in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.</p>
