  <p>Information: Mrs. Emma E. Donnelly of Second Avenue, Ripley, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 1988, in Jackson General Hospital following a long illness.  She was born in Frostburg, Md., a daughter of the late Earl and Pearl Thorpe Spitzman.  She had lived in Clarksburg, WV, and was a Baptist.  She was educated in the Maryland school system and was a homemaker.  Surviving:  husband, John Donnelly; daughter, Katherine Phillips of Ravenswood; son, John Donnelly II of Clarksburg; sisters, Hilda Mulligan of Mount Savage, Md., and Betty Wood of Frostburg, Md.; brothers, Ralph Spitzman of Mount Savage, Md., James Spitzman of Frostburg, Md.; seven grandchildren.  Services were held Monday at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Sylvester W. Staud officiating.  Burial was in Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
