Information: John Holden Donahew, son of Andrew and Martha Rollins Donahew, was born Januray 4, 1874, and departed this life June 23, 1941, at his home in Peebles, Ohio, age 67 years, five months and 19 days.  He was united in marriage to Mary Sayre on March 10, 1897 and to this union was born seven children.  He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, Mrs. Mary Donahew, and the following children;  Mrs. Chloe Sayre of Anjean, W. Va., Mrs. Nellie Lewis of Norwood, Ohio, Virgie of Akron Ohio, Walter of Norwood and Carl of Peebles, Ohio.  Ten grandchildren; two children preceded him in death.  Nine brothers and  sisters survive;  William and Charles Donahew, Mrs. Lora Rhodes of Evans, W. Va., Oak Donahew of Millwood, W. Va., Fisher Donahew of Leon, W. Va., Frederick of Letart, W. Va. Mrs. Ida Sayre of Akron, Ohio,  and Adda and Eva of Letart, Ohio.  He was a kind father and a good neighbor and will be sadly missed by those who are left behind.  Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Harry Drake:  text, Job 14:5; Thou hast appointed his bounds that he cannot pass.
