Information:                Warren Eugene Divers, 40, of Silverton, who had been living at Cowen, Webster County for some time, where he was employed as the general superintendent of the Maust Coal and Coke Company operations, died at 2:00 o’clock Saturday morning in the McClung Hospital at Richwood about two hours after he had been found in an unconscious condition in his car in a ditch by the roadside.  He never regained consciousness before his death.  He was born at Silverton on June 3, 1909, the son of the late J. W. and Florence Divers.  The body was brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. W. H. Moore at Silverton Sunday afternoon and the funeral services were held from the Silverton church Monday afternoon with the Rev. V. F. Williams officiating and the burial was in the Ravenswood cemetery.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Divers; four children, Barbara Jean, Roberta Sue, James Lee and John Williams; and seven sisters, Mrs.  G. M. Tribbett of Manchester, Maryland, Mrs. D. L. Carmichael of Belpre, Ohio, Mrs. F. C. Peppers, Mrs. T. P. Fish, Mrs. W. H. Moore and Miss Olive Divers, all of Silverton, and Miss Gladys Divers of Parkersburg.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
