Information: Fred E. Divers, 87, of Parkersburg, died Friday, March 9, 1990, at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.  He was born in Doddridge County, a son of the late Leon Aderlee and Levernia E. Frye Divers.  He was a member of Silverton United Methodist Church, and had attended the Seventh Street United Methodist Church, Parkersburg.  He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, life-time member of the Silverton Volunteer Fire Department, life-time member of the Silverton Grange, and was a self-employed truck driver.  He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Boice Divers; one stepson, Larry Charles Boice; and one sister, Orcie Bell of Zanesville, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and five sisters.  Services were held Monday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. G. Frank Plybon officiating.  Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.  Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, and Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, were in charge of arrangements.
