Information: Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Kathleen Dillon, 50, of Fairplain, who died at her home Thursday night after a lengthy illness, were conducted Sunday at the Vail Funeral Home.  The Rev. D. C. Guthrie officiated and burial was in the Fairplain Cemetery.  She was born Sept. 16, 1922, at Ripley, daughter of the late Hal and Kate Hunt Davis.  Mrs. Dillon was named as the ""Polio Mother of the Year"" in 1957.  Surviving are her husband, Charles Dillon; two daughters, Mrs. Reta Gail Parsons and Miss Sue Dillon, both of Fairplain; one brother, Warren Davis of Dunbar; one sister, Mrs. Edra Workman of Charleston.
