  <p>Information: Charles Homer Dillon, 79, of Sandyville, died Monday in the Veterans Hospital, Huntington, after a long illness.  Mr. Dillon was born February 21, 1896 at Sandyville, a son of the late Abner and Mary Nalley Dillon.  He was a veteran of WWI, a member of the VFW at Sandyville and a retired farmer.    Surviving: wife, Cora Hertje Dillon; son Charles E. Dillon, Ripley; brothers, Elem and Ross both of Sandyville; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Burch, Follansbee, Mrs. Della Gray, Friendly and Mrs. Jessie Snyder of Sandyville; half-sister, Mrs. Chloa McGrew of Fayetteville; two grandchildren.    Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Vail Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Morrison officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.  Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.</p>
